The Hedley Indian Band church (St Anne's Catholic Church) was a landmark in the Hedley community. Ironically, this picture shows the glow from a setting sun through the stained glass windows and the Christmas lights around the church's steeple. Regretfully, the church burned to the ground shortly after the discovery of 215 children's grave sites at the Kamloops residential school in 2001.
