We had a huge, well-kept garden in Kamloops. The abundant and glorious sunshine allowed us to try some plants we had not grown before, so we grew several varieties of sunflowers. These blooms were amongst the most spectacular. I placed a few blooms into an inexpensive vase and placed them in the late afternoon sunbeams that flooded our solarium. I love the cheerful nature of sunflowers - they almost always make me smile.
