I lived in Kamloops for 24 years, and this is one of the iconic pictures I took of the area. Hoodoos, benchlands, sagebrush, and bunchgrass predominate the landscape here. Hay is a huge cash crop for the farmers due to the wide open spaces and the abundant sunshine the land receives during the spring and summer. Farmers and ranchers from all over the province can usually rely on Kamloops to have some hay for sale if they run out themselves.
