One morning, Van Anda Cove was treated to its own marine mammal show when a pod of Pacific White-Sided dolphins frolicked in our cove. I went down to the wharf to see if I could capture some of the action (I am not primarily known as a wildlife photographer). I was fortunate to capture a high-speed action sequence as one dolphin did a heroic leap over its buddies that were zooming back and forth. Later, I learned that there was an unusually high concentration of feed in the bay, which kept the dolphins racing about our cove.
