It may be hard to believe, but this is a fifteen-second exposure taken just before midnight (11:42 PM). Nonetheless, my camera's sensor captured all of the light necessary to take this picture of Comet Neowise. The fiery alpenglow, coupled with the smoke-like clouds, led to the naming of this remarkable image.
